Lineage Of DMV Masonry
The Genesis of DMV Masonry began here with the construction of this building. The Elwye Center located at 17932 Fraley Blvd in Dumfries, Va. 22026. This construction project was a 14 month masonry boot camp for me. With Ennis Masonry my Father's Business being the branch of service.
At any rate, in 1985 a short time after Graduating from Courtland High School in Spotsylvania, Va., this was the first commercial construction project that I was assigned too. And every masonry unit in this structure which equates to thousands and thousands were laid by Ennis Masonry of which my brothers, uncle and myself were the nucleus.
Five stories in the front and seven in the back, it was a great learning experience for a new masonry recruit. Moreover, much of my baptism into masonry construction was completed here with the constant montra of "Take Pride In Your Work" which was shouted indiscriminately throughout the days and weeks like an ever-present directive soundtrack.
And that directive is what we continue to this day at DMV Masonry. Every edifice, structure, and building shall be completed with care and attention to detail in accordance with Federal, State and Local Statues. This is our Pledge and Promise to our customers.
